Bombay is considered the city of dreams as "Mayapuri" because of its film industry which has contributed in a big way to produce an image of the city as a blend of dreams and reality.
It has always attracted people all across the country to showcase their talent and creativity.
Several migrants from nearby states have always been attracted towards Mumbai in search of jobs and livelihood with some of them making a mark in the industry and has contributed in giving a national character to the industry.
People who aspire to make a career in show business have been allured by its charm and glamour.
Mumbai has been the commercial capital of the country and one of the developed cities in India, migrants with the prospects of better job opportunities come here.
But, their exist another side of Mumbai which is charcterised by slums, chawls,harsh living conditions that depicts the endless toil that people have to encounter in urban areas.
