Boric acid behaves as a Lewis acid and accepts OH- ions from water. It doesnot dissociate to produce ions rather forms metaborate ion and in turn release ions. Hence boric acid is considered a weak acid.

❤⭐ :REASON:⭐❤

  • ⭐.Because it is not able to release{H+} ions on its own.
  • ⭐.It receives{OH-} ions from water molecules to complete its octet and in turn release {H+} ions.
