Bronze is preffered in making statues beacuse :
Statues are kept in open environment so they are suspectible to rust .
Moreover to make statues we need to carv and make some minute structures on them so it requires to be malleable in nature.
To ensure such properties, we use alloys in place of pure metals and the most common alloy is Bronze.
