Zain-Ul-Adidin also known as Bud Shah, a supreme ruler of Kashmir in 1400s. His greatness is still being honored by the Kashmiri people even after six centuries just because of his efficiency in ruling the region, his welfare measures and his love on his people. He was the first person who brought an order in the Kashmir region, controlled crime and corruption like never before, brought the revision of land assessment for farmer and amended many social welfares at the time of unemployment and poverty.

Even though he was a kind-hearted person, he didn’t show any impartiality while giving judgments but avoided capital punishments wherever possible.

He was known to be a great architecture at the time and many of his architectures are standing still and engaged in public use in Kashmir region.

He supported learning more than all things during his rule. He provided everything to teachers and students from books to food for their welfare. Also built the largest library that was destroyed after his death.

These are some reasons why Bud Shah is still honored by the people of Kashmir.
