Why is burning of candle considered as both physical and chemical change.
please answer fast it's urgent.

snigdha1234: because when we burn a candle it's size reduces we cannot regain it original size. So it is a chemical change.
snigdha1234: it is also called physical change because when we heat wax it melts and when we cool it solidifies back in wax.

When the candle melts , the wick burns and slowly it begins to decrease its length and turns into black. This burnt wick cannot be again changed into the original white wick.

burning is a chemical change but the melted wax can be made into a candle again

Burning of a candle is a chemical as well as physical change. When we burn a candle it's size reduces and we can't regain its size so it's a chemical change. It is also called physical change because when we heat wax it melts and when we cool it solidifies back into wax.
