Answer: When you see your food you cannot separate the particles of oil by any PHYSICAL means. It includes changes in the chemical composition of oil. It causes the oil to overheat and form a new substance. On overburning, it can even turn ash - blackish and will have a complete change from the original substance

Because when oil is burning it will produce smell , gas, smoke etc. it is a chemical change.. but in physical changes only physical properties like shape will be changed. Here new products are  getting..
