Why is butanoic acid a weak acid??

because when butanoic acid is dissociated in water it is only partially ionise

HEY MATE!!!

BUTANOIC ACID IS WEAK ACID BECAUSE IT ONLY PARTIALLY IONISE .BUT NOT COMPLETELY IONISED AND THAT IS THE CONDITION OF A SUBTANCE TO BE A WEAK ACID.BECAUSE STRONG ACID IONISED COMPLETELY.
