why is carbon monoxide considered to be such as a dangerous pollutant

haemoglobin of our blood has great affinity towards carbon monoxide forming strong carboxyhemoglobin

because it have 200times more haemoglobin binding capacity than oxygen which form carbo haemoglobin and decrease in level of oxygen in the body which causes fatigue and aperson die within five minutes if carbon monoxide is more than oxygen
