why is centre of mass frame called zero momentum force ?

momentum of a system from its centre of mass fram is zero because ,p=mv ,where v is the relative velocity of the centre of the mass of the system with respect to the reference frame and the velocity of the centre of mass with respect the centre of mass is zero ,so P=mv=m*0=0
