Chennai is a coastal region.It will have a moderate climate throughout the year as sea surface absorbs heat slowly and also loses the heat slowly& which influences the adjacent land temperature.So ,the land near the sea will be warmer particularly in winter and the temperature will be comparatively less in summer.
