Accelerated objects are the ones that keep changing their velocities with time. That keep me speed (that is the magnitude) or the direction.
In case of circular motion the magnitude may remain same the direction follows the tangent of the circular orbit which changes accordingly. Hence circular motion is said to be an accelerated motion.
