Why is circular motion with its constant speed called accelerated motion? ​

Answer:

The circular motion with its constant speed is called accelerated motion because when a body travels in a circular path with constant speed it automatically changes it's direction magnitude.

As we know that the acceleration means Change in displacement per unit time with direction also.Thus it is a vector quantity.

The change in velocity per unit time leads to acceleration that's why it is called accelerated motion..
