why is circulation motion with constant speed called accelerated motion?

During circular motion, the direction of motion is changed every time. The direction of motion will be always tangential to that path,
And hence, the acceleration of the body is keep changing, taking magnitude and direction of the acceleration together.
So, it is accelerated motion.
