clinical thermometer is used to measure the body temperature of a person so we cant use the same thermometer to measure the temperature in air even if we use like tht if we keep a clinical thrmtr in air it may increase r dcrese in temp and whn we use fr patients it may show wrong

A clinical thermometer cannot be used to measure high temperatures because it has been designed to measure only human body temperature which varies over a short range. If a clinical thermometer is used to measure high temperatures, it will get damaged.
