Combination reaction is a reaction in which two compounds react with each other to form one product.
Oxygen reacts with carbon to form carbon dioxide.
C+O2------------->CO2
In this, two compounds reacted with each other to form one product.
So, it is a combination reaction.
Oxidation reaction is a reaction in which we add oxygen. In above reaction, we added oxygen and so it is called an oxidation reaction.

A combination reaction is a reaction in which two or more substance combine to form a new single substance

Example:-
2Mg + O2 ->2MgO

Here, oxygen is react with magnesium to form magnesium oxide

Oxidation reaction:-
==================
A reaction in which oxygen is added to a compound is called Oxidation reaction.

Example:-
2Mg + O2 -> 2MgO

Here Also , oxygen is react with magnesium to form magnesium oxide.So, they are same because in the above reaction we also added oxygen that's why combination reaction is also called Oxidation reaction.
