Industry is that part of business, which related to production.
It can be defined as "production of goods and services with a view to earn profits".
It converts raw materials into finished goods with the help of machinery at factories.
Since, production of finished goods are made ready here, business related activities like Trade ( buying and selling) can be performed.
without goods these activities cannot be undertaken.
