Soil is very important for living beings and their life cycle as soils support our vegetation’s ,agriculture providing it important minerals and basis for crop cultivation and moreover part of ecosystem they are home to some of the microorganisms such as earthworms etc.
Soils formation depends upon factors like parent material,climate,topography and relief feature ,microorganisms and time.
Methods of soil conservation:
1)checking soil erosion by growing trees and vegetation so that its roots hold soil particles and preventing desertification.
2)correcting agricultural practices at field like improving irrigation facilities by introducing precise irrigation techniques eg sprinkler system.
3)zero tillage and soil mulching etc.
4)correcting human activities related to soils.
