Why is convex mirror used as a rear mirror in scoote

Because the image is smaller, more image can fit onto the mirror, so aconvex mirror provides for a larger field of view than a plane mirror. This is why they are useful. They are usedwhenever a mirror with a large field ofview is needed.

It is because if u have paid a bit attention at your rear glass of bikes or scooties it's written that objects are more closer than they appear to be, so when u see in that glass if any vehicle is approaching you would see it more nearer than it actually is!
