copper wire not used in filament of bulb because copper wire is not good source of emitting electron from the metallic surface after passing through electric current.

while increasing the thickness of tungsten wire in a bulb the resistance is increased and hysteresis losses will be more bulb does not glow after passing current.

Answer:because copper wire will continue the flow of electricity as it is not resisting the electricity which makes glow the bulb

It will not allow the electricity flow as it is thick and it will stop the whole current and its resistance is high so bulb will not glow
