corrosion means degradation fue to its reaction with its environment. surface corrosion forms an oxide layer it acts as a barrier for air and moisture and thereby preventing the inner metal from corrosion.
corrosion causes damage to car bodies ,bridges,iron railings, ships and to all objects made of metal specially those of iron.
