1- the rules in the game are primarily framed for the benefit of the batsman. ex three are restrictions on number of bouncers that the bowlers can ball
2- traditionally the caption of cricket team has also been batsman
3- in limited overs cricket like one day and t20 there are restrictions on number of overs bowler can ball and there is no restrictions on how many overs the bats man can bat.
