Why is curd added added to warm milk to produce more curd?

Curd is added to warm milk to make more curd because the micro-organism ( bacteria- lactobacillus) cannot thrive under 37 degree centigrade and can multiply further in warm temperatures only. For their reproduction and multiplication, they need a warm environment to breed.
