Here, are some of the reasons that suits in the prairies of north america for development of dairy farming:
- Prairies is the temperate grasslands in North America which is one of the plant vegetations.
- Prairies are treeless, but lying near to the lowland green plains, flanking river, valleys and woodlands can be found.
- As prairies is the grasslands which makes domestic animals like cows, sheeps to breed their species more favorably bcz it makes the climate for cow well for its milk production.
- And it lies in the central of North America( as you can see in the picture of north america physical map in an attachment ) which makes their rural people's occupation more interest for dairy farming, As dairy farming is an important source of subsidiary income to small farmers and agricultural labourers and the practice of dairy farming in north america gives their an additional growth of theirs GDP.
- And the Mississippi river which is the longest river in North America flows through prairies which makes it more suitable soil for making fodder that is useful for cows food.
