Decius ismore successful than Calpurnia in persuading Caesar because he explains Calpurnia's dream as a very fair and fortunate one.
Calpurnia is not telling what Caesar would like to hear. On the other hand, Decius frames his statements to the liking of Caesar. Brave men often commit the blunder of becoming overconfident and by doing so they ignore certain warnings.
He tell Caesar that the dream was about his name and fame .The blood fountain mean about spreading of his name and fame and when the people of rome will was there hand with his blood they will spread his empire place to place .

Decius is more successful than Calpurnia in persuading Caesar because he explains Calpurnia's dream as a very fair and fortunate one. Calpurnia tries to convince Caesar to not to go to the Senate house telling him about the watchman's horrible dream and about hers, whereas Decius shows Caesar the bright and the positive aspect of Calpurnia's dream even though it is fake.

Hope it helps☺☺
