Why is democratic government a better form of
government?

Democratic government has some features which are not valid in the other form of goverment, monarchy. Some of those features : 1. citizens have a role in the government, they elect the representatives . 2. Freedom is respected in democracy. 3. There is secularism, all religions are equal. 4. Leaders are elected suitably, its not like a monarchy in which crown is passed from a generation to the next. 5. Discrimination is strictly prohibited. Sometimes , in a monarchy it is not. :)

democratic government allows people to select their own government it allows people to be free to select their representative.
there is a respect for human rights.
it also promotes human rights.it is giving respect to the thoughts of people.it improves self governance,.decision making is improvised.
