it is a more accountable form of government because of the following reasons :-

  • a democracy requires that the rulers have to attend to the needs of the people.
  • a non democratic gov may and can respond to the people's needs but It all depends on the wishes of the people who rule.
  • but in a democratic country this cant happen . If the ruler of a democratic country does not fulfill the needs of his people, in the next elections he would be removed from the government.
