_________

✯ multicellular organisms like human and animal are having complex body design.they have different organs which form organ systems.

✯ There are so many cells in our body that it is certainly impossible for gases like O2 and CO2 to move through these parts.

✯ if we talk about human skin it is having really low permeability which only allows some substances to get through it. mainly sweat comes out and water moves in which is really less in content.

✯ you might have seen that wrinkles appear after keeping hands in water for long time.

✯ diffusion can only happen in unicellular organisms or some plants.

✯ why did i type plants? well plants are having really simple body design. they are not having complex organ systems like us. They just take in CO2 and release O2. at night it's the opposite. ( they are capable of making own food )

✯ In brief one can write that organisms which are having complex body design can't survive by just diffusion. They require proper network of veins, arteries and capillaries which can bring and take back different substances or gases.
