To overcome this, multicellular organisms have specialized cells and tissues for performing various necessary functions of the body such as intake of oxygen and food. Therefore, diffusion simply cannotmeet their oxygen requirements.

1.all the parts of the body are not attached with the outer surface or environment
2.diffussion is a very slow process so It would take a a lot of time to spread to all the part of the body
