Diffusion, being a slow process will take a lot of time to circulate oxygen to all the body cells. Hence, diffusion is insufficient to meet the oxygen requirements of multicellular organisms like humans

Because diffusion is a weak process depending on concentration gradients.It cannot produce the required force and velocities so that gases can go to each and evry corner of the body and fulfill the various needs.thats why we need the circulatory system.It acts like a power station which makes the gases travel throu the whole body with the helps of fluids like blood and lymph.Duffusion is simply too weak for our body as it is very complex.
