Diffusion:Transfer of molecules from its higher concentration to its lower concentration. Difffusion is a very slow process.
Diffusion beign a very slow process,it is not sufficient for transportation of substances in plants and animals (it would requires 100 years for transfer of 1 mol of oxyzen from head to feet)
But diffsion is sufficient in lower organism/unicellular organisms mainly due to their microscopic size, beign very small diffusion is comparatively fast,as their is.lees distance to travel/transport.
Secoundly most of the body of unicellular organisms are exposed to the surrounding hence diffusion can easily occur.
