Water conducts electricity because it contains some salts and minerals in them which when mixed with water becomes ions and when electricity is passed these ions begin to move towards opposite charged electrode which constitute to the flow of electricity
But in distilled there is no ions and it is almost a pure form of water
Hence distilled water is a bad conductor electricity
