Why is dna considered a better genetic material than rna?

⏩ DNA double helix is more stable than an RNAdouble helix as unlike RNA it lacks a reactive -OH at C2. 

⏩ DNA contains Thymine, which is basically methylated Uracil. This adds to the stability as the Uracil group in the RNA is way more reactive.
