AWM uses .300 magnum ammo which is one of it's kind in game, all other sniper rifles use 7.62 or 5.56 ammo which is the main reason of it's high damage.

Due to its exceptional damage AWM can only be found inside a supply crate. AWM with a 8x scope and a suppressor is a deadly combo.
