Double circulatory systems are important because they ensure that we are giving our tissues and muscles blood full of oxygen, instead of a mixture of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood. While it may take a bit more energy than a single circulatory ystem, this system is much more efficient!

The Importance of Double Circulation are:-

  1. It helps in maintaining higher blood pressure.
  2. It allows a greater flow of blood to the tissues.
  3. It helps in creating more pressure to pump blood around the whole body tissues & organs.
  4. It helps in producing a large amount of energy to maintain life processes.
