dowry system was the social practice which leds to the demand of money and other things from the bride side. it was considered as a problem because the gifts and money given to groom's family was not the wish of bride's family it was like a load and pressure over them to give if they dont want then as well .
many times it leds to several incidents of accident rude behavior with newly bride .
