Efficient irrigation as a measure of Sustainable water use has limits in agriculture because it often drive intensification that can in turn lead to problems like over tilling, soil health,erosion etc..

And many of the farmers are not having ability to set up drip irrigation method as it needs money to set up all the pipes...
