Why is duralumin used to make aircraft bodies?

Because it is too light and is easily bent to make a streamlined shape.Also it has less density enough to face the opposite force by the air.

Yes, duralumin is used to make aircraft bodies because it is light weighed metal.

And is less expensive than others.
