Why is dussera also called as vijaydasmi

Lord Ram was send to forest for 14 years Ravan changed himself into a saint and kidnapped Sita. Lord Rama went to Lanka to defeat Ravan and bring sita back to Ayodhya. Lord Ram killed Ravan and gained victory (Vijay) over him and brought Sita back his victory over Ravan is celebrated as Dussera or Vijaydasmi (victory).
