Earth is called the living planet because :

1. Earth is the only living planet in the solar system because it has all the necessary elements for survival of living organisms.

2. It has Oxygen, nutrients and optimum sunlight to support wide range of plant and animal species.

3. Other planets in the solar system doesn't have all the elements needed for the growth of organisms. They may have certain elements but not all of them and also not in optimum amount.

4. There have been many theories that outside the solar system and milky way galaxy there are possibilities of other living planets that supports living organisms.
