Why is earth sphere in shape ? Can't it be flat? Has NASA really sent their people on moon? If yes than why isn't it going on moon at this present era?

Because the Earth is a sphere, the surface gets much more intense sunlight, hence heat, at the equator than at the poles

they are sending to moon to send satellites into space and check out the conditions there
