Employment can be explained as the work done by the people or the state of having paid work.

Unemployment is a serious problem in our community in which people are willing to do work are being deprived of a health lifestyle and facilities due to lack of jobs.

Explaination:-

Unemployment can be of two types:-

(i) Disguised unemployment:- In this type of unemployment which we generally see in the rural areas in which people are unable to get jobs due to lack of knowledge and skills.

And if gets work then it is temporary and may get unemployed seasonally i. e labourers etc.

(ii) Educated unemployment:- In this type of unemployment that is mostly prevailing in urban areas in which people are having knowledge and degrees but still the they are unable to get proper job.

This educated unemployment is a peculiar problem of India because of the following points :-

(i) Industrial and service sector are unable to render jobs this is the one of the main cause of unemployment in India.

(ii) People might have good degrees because of there theoretical knowledge but are unable to use practical knowledge that's why they are not being selected for jobs due to the increasing competition of talent.
