Education is called the light of life, birthright, and human right because of the following reasons-

  • Education is the only means by which an individual can learn about himself and his surroundings. Be it academic education, vocational education, or education through experience it is the element of life that guides us like a beacon of life.
  • Education makes us realize our rights and duties and thus makes us more knowledgeable. Thus, it is our birthright as it helps us to gain knowledge about ourselves, as well as the world.
  • The human brain should be trained and taught for it to become more creative and progressive. Education is the means to do that. Thus, it is our human right.
