Why is electric power transmitted over long distance at high voltage.plzzz answer fast

Because there is a loss of voltage and energy while transmission over long distance. Usually, AC current is preferred over DC because in AC current the loss of energy is lower than in DC, and most importantly, It's less fatal (deadly) than DC current.

since long distance a high resistence will be there
