endocytosis found in animal cell but not in plant cells because the plasma membrane of a plant cell is usually pressed against the rigid cell wall by turgor pressure, which hinders the plasma membrane from invaginating into the cytosol.

Answer:
Endocytosis mostly occurs in animal cell and very rarely in plant cell as the cell membrane in plant cell is surrounded by a rigid cell wall.
This Cell wall causes hindrance in the sheathed part of plasma membrane which forms the transport vesicles for the transfer of substances in the cytoplasm of the cell.
