The deffinition of endocytosis is " a process when a cell membrane surrounds a particle and encloses it in a vesicles to bring it to the cell." Due to presence of cell wall, plant cell can't do that but animal cells can.

endocytosis takes place with the help of cell membrane. in plants, the cell membrane has an outer covering of cell wall and hence they cannot perform endocytosis
