Ethanol(C2H5OH) is released in anaerobic while CO2 and H2O are released in aerobic. Now if you see,

Ethanol is not in its simplest form.

While CO2 and H2O are relatively in simple form. Glucose in anerobic respiration is not completely oxidised while in aerobic it's completely oxidised to carbon dioxide and water.
