why is π equal to 22/7

The value of pi is not equal to 22/7. The value 22/7 is just taken because it is a good approximation of pi and it makes calculations a lot simpler. ... The value of pi is obtained by circumference/diameter of a circle. I have tried it myself and found out 3.14 is the answer

if you divide circumference by diameter of any circle

you will get this same value
