Evolution depends upon sexual reproduction and meiosis because in sexual reproduction meiosis takes place and in meiosis overlapping of chromosomes takes place and this results in getting new characters. this new characters help the organism for better survival. we know that evolution is nothing but nature selection. so to continue its race an organism must show unique characters. these characters are formed in sexual reproduction due to meiosis.
