Excretion is one of life's most essential mechanisms that help regulate nature. Animals, however, are more complex genetically than plants, which is why the mechanism of excretion of a plant is much simpler and therefore more inept.
Plants tend to excrete organic waste by removing parts of the body, that is by dropping the old leaves. Animals can't get rid of their waste by falling body parts. Nevertheless, oxygen is a waste product for plants, and they get rid of it by allowing it to spread out of the body through their leaves stomata (pores)
