The exhaled air is warmer than the inhaled air because the percentage of Oxygen in the inhaled air is more than the exhaled air. During the process of exhaling, the amount of carbon dioxide increases because the body consumes the oxygen and throws out carbon dioxide. The exhaled air comprises much of carbon dioxide in it and hence it is hotter.
